Amy Winehouse's Father Unhappy With Gaultier Tribute
Mitch Winehouse, father of the late singer Amy Winehouse, is less than thrilled with Jean Paul Gaultier's Couture tribute to his daughter's eccentric style.
"We're still grieving for her loss, and we've had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy's death," he told the Sun. "To see her image lifted wholesale to sell clothes was a wrench we were not expecting or consulted on. . . No one asked us for permission or offered to make a donation to the foundation."
He also tweeted: "We do not support Jean Paul Galtier's [sic] collection. It's in bad taste."
