Each year over 100 children die in Kuwait from medical conditions that cannot be cured, or whose treatment has failed. For that reason "Bayt Abdullah" The Children Hospice was created; as a centre providing support to terminally ill children and their family. It will offer family centered support including care for pain & symptom control and day cares for children to play in. In will also offer places to live in for respite, emergency & terminal care. It is aiming to be a home away from home for children & their families who need help living as full a life as possible, for as long as possible.
Although "Bayt Abdulla" has been in progress for many years now but many people are still clueless about it.
